Andy made the ‘sea change’ in 2002 after 2 years as Matt Morans Sous Chef at acclaimed Sydney restaurant ‘ARIA’. In Port Douglas, Andy led local icon 2-Fish to award fame for 5 years before going alone and opening bel cibo.
Gray has put together a professional, passionate team that offer everything you would expect from a leading Italian restaurant with deep family based love of good food & wine . bel cibo dishes are sublime yet simple.
At bel cibo we are dedicated to simple flavour marriages through freshness of quality products . Andy is fussy about using only the best local produce, the seafood is from the great barrier reef, the beautiful pasta is all hand made off site & the pizzas are hand stretched to order.
